Writers Table Presents: Four YWC Winners

This September, the Writers Table will welcome four of the 30 winners from the 29^th Annual Young Writers Contest to join us at 11:15 am for a reading of their winning entry in Poetry, Humor, Short Story and Personal Narrative. These four readers represent 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade students who placed 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd in their respective category.

The Young Writers Contest is open to all 6 through 8^th grade students who live in and attend school in Contra Costa County. Winners were granted a cash prize of $100, $50, and $25 for their 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place entry. We look forward to the readings as we kick off our 30^th Annual Young Writers Contest this winter.
