What
CWC Mt. Diablo will sponsor an event in the Tatzin Community Room at the Lafayette Library to showcase member writing and services.
Purpose:
- Sell your books
- Advertise your related writing services (book design, editing, etc.),
- Give you experience marketing your work
- Increase your readership
- Enhance the image of the California Writers Club—Mt. Diablo Branch
- Establish a connection with the public library for future events.
Cost: $25 per author / service provider
Set up: We will have 20 tables with two authors at each table. Coffee and cookies will provided. Signs near the library front door and door of the Tatzin Room will direct people to the event.
Promotion: the Library Foundation has a mailing list of 4,000 rabid supporters. We will have ads in the Foundation’s newsletter for three weeks going to the support group. Other normal library communication will announce the event. The library will also have hundreds of patrons coming into the library on Saturday and will be drawn to the room.
*NB: Authors are responsible for any California resale license requirement, as well as handling all aspects of sales tax requirements.
