Lovers of the Spoken Word + Art,
Poets and Artists, please review the Prospectus attached below – one for Artists and one for Poets. It’s for an exciting “Ekphrasis Poetry From Original Art” program. Ages teens to seniors are welcome to register.
Ekphrasis is defined as:
“A written work that interprets a visual work of art.”
Artists deadline to submit 2D images is August 14. Poets deadline to request receipt of original art images is August 17.
Join Lamorinda Arts Council, California Writers Club, Mt Diablo Branch and Youth Ambassador Program Leaders Charlie Rivera-Gu and Sharanya Roy on Sunday September 13, 2:00 at the Town Hall Theatre Main Stage, 3535 School St., Lafayette for the program.
Neither Artist nor Poet knows who they have been paired with until they arrive at Town Hall Theatre and are handed a Program showing the order of presenters.
Just show up – it’s all free.
