Kylie Wang Announces Her First Book is Published

Kylie Wang was born in Taiwan in 2006 and moved to Hong Kong soon afterwards, where she attended school until she was 12. She is now a high schooler in the San Francisco Bay Area who writes to procrastinate on her school assignments. So far, she’s been awarded or published by YoungArts, the Ron L. Hubbard Writers of the Future Award, BlueFire, and more than 30 other venues. She started her first book, Stuck in Her Head, with her friend Liana when she was 14. Kylie Wang’s first book, Stuck in Her Head, will be published on October 24 with Earnshaw Books. The co-written Young Adult novel is a coming-of-age story set in Hong Kong about two teen girls navigating societal pressure, complicated relationships, and mental illness. Kylie first started working on the book with Liana Tang, an elementary school friend, when she was 14. and will see it published at 17 years old.
