Isidra Marcos: Upcoming Speaking Engagments

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, I invite you to join the talented short story writer Leslie Kirk Campbell and myself during a conversation that promises to be fascinating. The event is free for members of The Mechanics Institute and the Women’s National Book Association, and a sliding scale ($5-$10) for others. There will be wine, apps, and a chance to chat with the authors after the reading. You can read more about it and register here.

I am SO excited to be a speaker at the 34th Central California Women’s Conference in Fresno, which will take place on September 26 from 8am-5pm. The keynote speaker is none other than Brooke Shields. The conference offers varied themes, from managing your finances to health and wellness and inspirational topics. My session’s title is: “Change: The Key to Our Potential.” You can see why this topic has been on my mind, aside from being a big part of my life right now. There are still a few tickets left, so check it out and consider attending if you can. Learn more about the conference here.
