Every project we undertake together will begin with four questions:
What do you want to learn?
Is your subject a person, historical event, company, crime, place, or something else?
How will you use the research?
Is it for a book, article, documentary, presentation, business project, or fact-check?
What time period, location, and level of detail should the research cover?
What are some of the parameters of your question?
What would you like me to deliver—and when?
This might include a source list, interviews, verified facts, a timeline, annotated documents, or a written report.
