Richard Black wrote “The Burning Barn” to explore the life and times of his great-grandparents in Civil War Missouri. His second novel, also historical fiction, presents America on the precipice of WW II as MIT’s Rad Lab develops microwave RADAR. He worked with the Datura Writer’s group of Oakland, California and lives in Lafayette. California with his wife, Donna, a potter.
